Gavan Ring and Fiachra Garvey celebrate St Patrick’s Day with another rich source of the songs of travel, before turning to Stephen McNeff’s Ballads of a Bogman, a cycle of songs to the poetry of Sigerson Clifford, with its striking evocations of the South Kerry countryside and the little town of Cahersiveen.
